Best Friend

Human being can not live without each other. Sometimes they need other people to help them and makes their life become insterest. That is why human need other people to stay alive in this world. Usually, some people have a few person that have close relationship with them. Either family or others. It is same case with teenager. Normally, a teenager has two or more friends that so close with them.  Best friend. It is the one name of that relationship.

But what is the meaning of best friend actually? Is it just person that has close relationship to you? Only that? No. I am quietly sure that it is not just about that. Actually, each people has different opinion about what the best friend is. Some of people say that best friend is person who always help you to solve your problem. Some other say that best friend is person who always by your side, no matter is happy or not.

But for me, best friend has deeper meaning than that. I think best friend is person who always make us closer to Allah. A person who be able to make our personality better. I think, a best friend should not doubt to remind their friend about something wrong. I think a best friend suppose tell and guide their friend to the right way. Because relationship of best friend is just not only in the earth, but also in the afterlife.

Normally, your environment will form your personality. If your friend is good, so you will be good too. But if your friend bad, you will be bad as well. That is why our provet said that we must found good friend who can bring us closer to Allah, guide us to heaven.

Unfortunately, teenager not paying too much attention to this. They more prefer to have close relationship with person who they think can make their happy in this life. Even though a best friend should not only makes you happy in this life, but also make you happy in the afterlife.

I’m not saying that we have to pick around in friends, but what I mean is, we should think clearly about who the person that we can call the best friend is. So teenager can be friends to all the people, but they should think again and again about who is person that should be their close friend.
